After the success of its inaugural edition last year, the paradise island of Bali is again all set and ready to present the wonders of the island and neighboring emerging destinations including Lombok, Sumbawa, Flores, Komodo, and the entire Indonesian Archipelago in the Bali & Beyond Travel Fair 2015. The Fair is scheduled to be held from 10th to 14th June 2014, at the Nusa Dua Convention Center (BNDCC) and the Beachwalk Kuta.
The event will be held in conjunction with the annual Bali Art Festival 2015 which will also take place in mid June.
The Bali & Beyond Travel Fair (BBTF 2015) intends to establish a new benchmark for travel & tourism events in Indonesia. By bringing buyers and sellers together in a single forum, BBTF 2015 aims to advance the tourism industry through business sessions and direct promotion of best practices in MICE and Leisure management.
Together with exhibitors and buyers from numerous countries around the world, BBTF 2015 will facilitate Pre-Scheduled Appointments (PSA) and business sessions for buyers and sellers to negotiate on their long term leisure and corporate travel needs. Corporations, travel agents, hotels & resorts chains, cruise operators, convention planners, venue operators and travel buyers can leverage the two and half days of business to business sessions to enhance their respective brands in the Indonesian and Asia Pacific markets. In addition to the business to business (B2B) sessions, the comprehensive four and half days B2B and B2C (business to Consumer) travel fair will have an extensive program of activities for delegates.
Touted to be the most comprehensive business to business Travel and Tourism fair in Southeast Asia, the event is presented by the Association of The Indonesian Tours and Travel Agencies (ASITA) Bali with the full support from the Ministry of Tourism and all of Bali’s tourism stakeholders.
Last year’s BBTF was participated by 450 sellers and 350 buyers from all over the globe and recorded a total transaction of IDR5trillion. This year, the event will focus on 3 market segments, namely: leisure, MICE, and special interest tourism.
