Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali, Indonesia, has begun the renovation and expansion of its domestic and international terminals.
The international terminal will be expanded from 65,800m² to 120,000m² while the domestic terminal will be expanded from 13,300 to 65,800m² following the upgrade.
The Indonesian Government will spend US$187 million for the upgrade project that will take 18 months to complete. The renovations are expected to be fully operational for the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation conference in Bali in 2013.
